The Open structure of Visual CADD allows Tracks import and export drawings. All Tracks modules are able to transfer data from one to another with seamless interaction.

Just imagine:
A builder draws up an initial plan with a client and then emails this to a draftsperson for the detail work. This is returned to the builder along with the site drawing produced in Tracks by the surveyor. Then the builder links to the framing company, roof supplier, etc. who all use their Tracks modules to produce the exact information required for construction. Now the builder has a 'virtual' house that will provide all the information needed to cost the construction and to build the house.

Sounds complicated? Well, it is important to remember that this 'plan construction' has actually eliminated many processes in the chain. Your suppliers no longer need to 'start from scratch' when working on their section, the information they need is provided in the drawing they receive. Likewise, you can be certain that the method used to calculate their information is accurate and is compatable with your system.
