Why Tracks?
When we were thinking about a name for our new software, it was decided
straight away that we should avoid the 'CAD' tag in the title. Our program
is more than just a computer drawing pictures; it represents a new
concept in using a computer in the design process.
After much contemplation, it was decided that 'Tracks' would be a
great name for this new approach. This name reflects the role of the
system to provide a path of innovation for our users, not only for
the 'pioneers' of technology implementation, but also people who are
less confident about taking on the technology revolution.

The Tracks' goanna is also significant. This Australian tough guy
can adapt to any environment, he survives by moving quickly
and the hotter it gets the more he likes it!
